Why I love it:  Loulou's Garden is smack dab in the middle of boysenberry country and their rendition tastes like the original, distilled to all its glory.  Flavor catcher, Casey Havre, starts with organic berries at the peak of their ripeness and preserves them with minimal sugar and an expert hand.  The result is a sweet and mildly tart jam that mingles the sassy flavor of raspberry and the sultry taste of blackberry.  

How I’ll use this in my kitchen:  This is a jam I want to start my day with!  I love it spooned into yoghurt with some Freddy Guys Granola or spread on buttered toast or a croissant. It also makes a great last-minute filling for a quick galette or custard tart.  In the savory kitchen, try it lightly dabbed onto seared Foie Gras atop brioche toasts and mache.
